Limmud Across NY is a full day of intimate learning opportunities hosted in people’s homes and apartments across the New York metropolitan area. Join us on Sunday, April 25 to support Limmud NY and celebrate our community.
Join us for:
- Opportunities to learn throughout the day, morning (11am-1pm), afternoon (3pm-5pm), and evening (7pm-10pm)
- A choice of brunches, events for families, cocktail events, dinners, and desserts, each with a different learning session given by an exciting presenter
- Events across the New York area, in Brooklyn, Queens, the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, New Jersey, Long Island, Riverdale and more
Confirmed events include: - Seven Generations, an exploration of assimilation in the Jewish Ethiopian population in Israel, with photographer and filmmaker Avishai Mekonen (11:00 am-1:00 pm in Queens, $72)
- Wine Regions of Israel: A Talk and Tasting with Aron Ritter, founder of the Kosher Wine Society (7:00-9:00 pm on the Upper West Side, $72)
- Brother Can You Spare a Dime: What Does Jewish Tradition Say About Giving Money to Beggars? with teacher and author Arthur Kurzweil (7:00-9:00 pm in Brooklyn, $72)
- Reincarnation on One Foot: What is the Jewish Perspective on Life after Death? with rabbi and scholar DovBer Pinson (7:00-9:00pm on the Upper East Side, $180)
